Two earthquakes last night . . .
Whoa . . .
Two strong earthquakes, one magnitude 6.9 and the second magnitude 7.3, rattled western Japan within hours of each other Sunday night, injuring 14 people, shaking buildings in Tokyo and triggering tsunami waves.
The first one wasn't so bad, but it lasted for about 1 min. The second just kept shaking. jen and I were watching a movie and the apartment started shaking, we thought it would stop but it kept going. So we went and grabbed the girls who were sleeping and rushed outside. By this time the shaking stopped and we were the only ones in the street. Some neighbors were looking out their windows at us and chuckling in amusement once again at the foreigners doing strange things. We're novices when it comes to earthquakes, so not really knowing what to do, we headed outside.
To add to the natural phenomenon, we've got a typhoon heading our way and should be here tommorrow night. Not a dull moment . . . more on the typhoon tommorrow.
